The Johnny Herbert Karting Challenge

This is the 16th Annual Challenge and my passion for the event remains the same as it was for the first one. It is a fantastic way to bring together motorsport fans from all parts of the globe and for them to race alongside some of the best names in the business. Of course this is to raise incredible sums of money for our chosen charity.

For 2009 we will be showing our support for the Harry Birrell Scholarship Trust, who support children, in Africa, to have a quality secondary education helping to produce young people contributing to the success of Africa. This charity has recently received Royal support with the appointment of Peter Philips as patron.

Once again my personel thanks go to everyone involved, the celebrities who have freely given their time, Roy and his team for their unstinting support and hard work, The Raceway and all the organisers who work so hard behind the scenes.
