A Call To Alms – Scott Malvern

As many of you know Scott was with us at last year’s karting event helping Johnny support our chosen charity so we thought it was only right that we post the following (from Dominic Malvern). Please give any support you can.

This is really a ‘please to you all’ to see if any of you, or anyone you can think of, can help Scott get to the end of the championship. The next six to eight weeks are critical with the whole of the second half of the championship condensed into the period between 14th August and 26th September.

Scott, the race team and all of the sponsors have done a fantastic job to date and the fruit of our considerable effort is that Scott leads the championship at the halfway stage of the season. It cannot be under stated what a fantastic achievement this is as Scott is a complete under dog in this situation. He is driving a car manufactured by minnow company Raysport, who were given no chance in this championship. The car was considered uncompetitive against the might of the French giant Mygale company who have won this championship for the past five years. Indeed the Ray’s last podium finish was back in 2007 and then it was driven by the very highly rated Nick Tandy who is currently very much a championship contender in the International Porsche Supercup that supports Formula One Grand Prix events.
